A paper was presented at the Bath/ASME Symposium on Fluid Power and Motion Control September 12-14. The paper introduced the DIGIWIN project and a "creep mode" control method for very precise positioning of the digital HTLS motors. The paper was well received and several participants acknowledged the novel creep mode method as well as the impressive size of the test equipment.
